This Level 3 Applied General Certificate in Music Technology enables learners to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of working in the music technology sector. It is suitable for learners who are motivated by applied learning and learning through hands-on creative experiences related to the work of a performing musician and music technologist.
This qualification is for learners wishing to continue their education through applied learning, equipping them with transferable knowledge and skills whilst giving them the opportunity to respond to contextualised industry briefs.

Aims of the Course
These are to:
To be awarded the Level 3 Applied General Certificate in Music Technology, learners are required to achieve a minimum of a Pass in each of the 6 mandatory units mentioned below:
This qualifications is delivered via a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which provides access to case studies, learning materials and activities, presentations and web links. Online tutor support and guidance is provided throughout the course, where learners can interact with the tutors, get feedback on their progress and submit their work electronically. This helps you to build the relevant skills progressively, as you receive feedback and support from your tutor during this time. Face to face interactions will be conducted through video sessions.
Each unit of the qualification is internally assessed and graded. The externally assessed components will consist of individual questions which are marked using a numerical mark scheme to achieve a total score.
After successful completion, you will gain Level 3 Applied General Certificate in Music Technology awarded by NCFE
This qualification fulfils entry requirements for a range of Higher Education courses, either by meeting entry requirements in their own right or being accepted alongside and adding value to other qualifications at the same level.
Degree courses could include:
