How the course is delivered?

The Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership is delivered via a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which provides access to case studies, learning materials and activities, presentations and web links. Online tutor support and guidance is provided throughout the course, where learners can interact with the tutors, get feedback on their progress and submit their work electronically. This helps you to build the relevant skills progressively, as you receive feedback and support from your tutor during this time. As the course is delivered online, this enables learners to study any time, any place through immediate access to VLE.

Assessment

A mixture of assessments will be used – formal reports, presentations, research project, and examinations based upon a previously seen case study.

Certification

After successful completion, learners will achieve Level 5 Diploma in Principles of Management and Leadership qualification awarded by NCFE.

Opportunities for progression

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to:

• Higher Apprenticeship in Management and Leadership
• CMI Level 6 Diploma in Management and Leadership
• Pearson Edexcel Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership
• Learners can also progress into or within employment upon successful completion of this qualification.

Entry requirements

An appropriate level of skill in the English language. International learners will be required to have ILETS 5.5 or equivalent.
This qualification is designed for adult learners who want to progress into or within employment in a management and leadership role. There are no formal entry requirements for learners undertaking this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they’ve already achieved a Level 4 qualification.
Learners may find it useful if they’re already employed in an associated professional or operational management role.
