Structure

To be awarded the Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care, learners must successfully achieve unit assessments for a range of mandatory and optional units.

    • Unit 3 – Equality and diversity in adult care settings

    • Unit 4 – Facilitate person-centred assessment

    • Unit 5 – Health and safety in care settings

    • Unit 6 – Lead safeguarding of vulnerable adults

    • Unit 7 – Professional practice in adult care.

How the course is delivered

This Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care is delivered via blended learning. Learners get full access to a secure Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) with digital learning materials, case studies, activities, presentations, and recommended reading.
Tutors provide continuous guidance and feedback through video sessions, emails, or classroom sessions. Assessments can be submitted online and face-to-face tutor support is available through video conferencing or in-person appointments.

Entry requirements

This qualification is designed for learners aged 18 or above. Learners should be working in a care setting in a supervisory or lead role and possess appropriate levels of English language, literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
